Another art piece from Kendrick that if you don’t like now, you will further down the line. Just like many did with ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’. However, if you’re like me then you most likely enjoyed both projects faster than the masses did.
I’ve been a fan of Westside Boogie’s work before he started going by Westside Boogie and was just Boogie. I mess with the name change though. Like most good artists Westside Boogie had us waiting a minute for him to drop the new album. I’m not even mad that he did cause the album was worth the wait. Besides I’m sure the wait had to do with the label. Nothing against Shady records, but I’m sure label marketing games came into place causing more of the wait.
Dixson’s album ‘Darling’ brings back that R&B that shows appreciation for that special woman in your life. Each track flows perfectly together, from beginning to end this album has the smoothest transitions.
Blxst is one of those artist that sounds good on his projects and good on features. A young cat from the West, who has been called the Nate Dogg of this generation. Although in an interview with Joe Budden he gave respect to Nate Dogg, he did not want to be compared to the legend respectfully.
Aaron Ray has been making noise for a while now, and it’s all been great music. It seems like he’s been putting in more work lately, from popping up on other artists’ albums as a dope feature. Now he has dropped one of his new and needed projects for us to replay from beginning to end.
You’ll always be entertained, and/or learn something new about one of your favorite artists while watching Drink Champs.
